Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, "Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!" And God granted him what he requested(1 Chronicles 4:10).
Jabez
- Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother named him Jabez saying, "Because I bore him with pain."( 1 Chronicles 4:9)
- So Jacob said to Pharaoh, "The years of my sojourning are one hundred and thirty; few and unpleasant have been the years of my life, nor have they attained the years that my fathers lived during the days of their sojourning."(Genesis 47: 9)
- "Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy.(John 16:20)"Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.(John 16:22)"Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.(John 16:24)
- "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.(Matthew 7:7~8)
Oh that You would bless me indeed
- So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him. Then Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.(Genesis 9:1~7)

- The LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, "Now lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward; for all the land which you see, I will give it to you and to your descendants forever.(Genesis 13:14)。
- "Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; Lengthen your cords And strengthen your pegs. "For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left. - "Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Your hand might be with me
- Teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."(Matthew 28:20)

You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!
